PARIEK : THE ECOLOGICAL RECYCLED FLOORING.
It is
totally new and self-locking, created from the processing of entirely recycled plastic; therefore, it can be defined as 100% ENVIRONMENTALLY friendly.
It 's product
for 90% of waste from PVC sheathing of electric cables and 10% of plastic from the heterogeneous collection.
90% of the product is produced from PVC waste from the sheathing of electric cables and 10% is from heterogeneous plastics from selective waste collection. Each self-locking tile weighs 3.5kg and each square meter of flooring weighs 63kg ca. A square of
PA.RI.EK. consists of 18 pieces. Each element consists of three abutting hexagons with or without slanting bevel along the entire perimeter of the upper surface; the upper surface of the self-locking elements can be rusticated with bubbles of a diameter of 30mm or smooth without design, both are non-slip. The
PA.RI.EK. is 6.2cm thick. These self-locking elements are supplied on Euro format pallets (80 x 120cm) and each pallet contains 15 square meters of material.
As it is recycled material,
the colour of production and supply is gray and can have different colour shadings but after installation, they can be painted with a water-based acrylic enamel.
.
Installation is practical and quick.
In fact, on a well-packed surface, and with its relative gradient, all that is needed is to spread 4 to 5cm of sand and after "levelling" of the same, to place the self-locking elements, leaving no space between elements.
It is not necessary to have a mixture of concrete on which to spread the sand, the surface can be just the ground.
It is absolutely essential not to leave breaks between one element and another so as to avoid the growth of grass; this advantage is the result of their perfect interlocking.
To complete the installation of interlocking PA. RI. EK. elements, it is necessary to effectuate vibrated rolling of the surface. These self-locking elements can be cut with a flexible with a widia disk to avoid the blade becoming messed or forming dust.
PA. RI. EK. ,created as an industrial flooring,
has found the widest variety of applications because of its extreme versatility, also in the field of urban and civil furniture (see
photogallery):
trafficable parking for cars and heavy trucks, ramps and inclined surfaces, sidewalks and pedestrian paths, ecological islands, cycling trails, model airplane runways, play areas for children, outdoor recreational areas, foundations for above ground swimming pools, greenhouses, terraces, courtyards, elevated and terraced areas, workshops, garages, stables and animal walkways, etc. ..
PA. RI. EK. therefore, can be considered a revolutionary and environmentally friendly self-locking and multi-use element that does not fear comparisons with solid concrete.
The benefits and savings that can be gained when compared with concrete self-locking elements are numerous and are found mainly:
- in transport:PA. RI. EK. weights less than half [of the alternative];
- in installation: the perfect interlocking of thePA. RI. EK. elements makes it very simple and fast because sand is not alloweb to pass between them;
- in itsresistance: PA. RI. EK.is suitable for heavy load vehicles with a capacity of 45 to 48 tons per square meter;
- in itsenvironmental impact: PA. RI. EK. is environmentally friendly;
- in itsprice: PA. RI. EK. èin economical.
